EDIFIER R2000DB BOOKSHELF BLUETOOTH SPEAKERS (Wood)

Description

EDIFIER R2000DB Bookshelf Bluetooth Speakers (Wood) — big, balanced sound with flexible inputs

Bring studio-style clarity to your desk, living room, or mini home theatre setup with the EDIFIER R2000DB bookshelf speakers. Designed for listeners who want strong performance without the complexity of a full AV receiver, these Bluetooth speakers deliver a clean, well-balanced sound signature and deep, satisfying bass—without needing a separate subwoofer. The high-gloss piano finish adds a premium look that blends naturally with modern interiors, while the compact bookshelf form factor makes them easy to place on shelves, stands, or media consoles.

Crystal highs with 25mm “Eagle Eye” silk dome tweeters

At the top end, the R2000DB uses newly developed 25mm silk dome “Eagle Eye” tweeters (6Ω) to make subtle details easier to hear. Whether you’re listening to vocals, acoustic instruments, or game audio cues, the tweeters are built to keep treble crisp and controlled. Compared to many entry-level bookshelf speakers that can sound sharp or uneven at higher volumes, the R2000DB’s tweeter design is intended to reduce distortion and maintain clarity across listening levels.

Powerful output and smooth frequency response for everyday listening

These speakers are rated for total power output of RMS 24W × 2 + 36W × 2, giving you confident volume for movies, music, and gaming sessions. With a frequency response of 55Hz–20KHz (±3dB), the R2000DB covers the full audible range for a natural presentation—so bass doesn’t feel thin and highs don’t feel muted. The frequency range also makes them a practical choice for mixed content, such as watching videos on a computer while switching between music playlists and voice-heavy content.

Low noise performance for cleaner sound

With an SNR of ≥ 85dBA, the EDIFIER R2000DB is engineered to keep background noise low, helping you hear more of the recording and less of the electronics. This matters most when listening at moderate-to-lower volumes, where hiss and noise can become noticeable on less refined speaker systems. If you use your speakers for work calls, online learning, or late-night listening, the improved signal-to-noise ratio supports a more comfortable listening experience.

Dual RCA + optical input, plus Bluetooth pairing

The R2000DB offers versatile connectivity so you can match it to your devices. You can connect through optical and RCA input, and you can have more than one device plugged in at the same time. For wireless convenience, Bluetooth lets you pair a smartphone and enjoy music without cables. For video watching, the source notes that Bluetooth latency is close to null, making these speakers more suitable for content from computers or mobile devices than many typical Bluetooth speaker setups.

Built-in DSP and Dynamic Range Control (DRC) for reduced distortion

To protect audio quality, the R2000DB includes Digital Signal Processing (DSP) and Dynamic Range Control (DRC). These technologies help minimize distortion and keep the listening experience consistent, even when you increase volume. If you’ve ever heard bass “smear” or vocals lose definition on budget speakers, DSP/DRC-based tuning is a key reason the R2000DB is positioned as a balanced bookshelf option for daily use.

Controls that are easy to reach

For everyday convenience, the R2000DB includes a wireless remote for basic control. You can also adjust bass, treble, and master volume using the side panel on the speaker, which is useful when you want quick changes without reaching for your phone or sitting at your desk. The remote is described as having basic controls, while the speaker-side controls provide direct tuning for your room and listening preference.

What’s in the box experience: placement, use cases, and warranty

With dimensions of 9.5in × 11.25in × 7.5in (WxHxD), these bookshelf speakers are sized for flexible placement in most rooms. They’re an ideal match for computers, gaming consoles, and mini home theatres—especially when you want a clean, compact setup that still delivers satisfying bass. The source also specifies a 5M/16.4FT connection cable, helping you position the speakers comfortably within typical desk or shelf layouts. Backed by a 1-year warranty, the EDIFIER R2000DB is a strong choice for buyers seeking a stylish, feature-rich Bluetooth speaker system with clear sound and practical connectivity.
