Edifier QR65 2:0 Bluetooth Desktop Active Monitor Speaker with GaN Charger

Description

Edifier QR65 2:0 Bluetooth Desktop Active Monitor Speaker with GaN Charger

The Edifier QR65 2:0 Bluetooth Desktop Active Monitor Speaker is built for people who want clean, balanced desktop audio without clutter. Designed as an active 2.0 channel monitor-style speaker system, it delivers a total output power of 70W for confident sound across everyday listening—whether you’re working, gaming, watching videos, or streaming music. With a wide frequency response of 55Hz to 40kHz, the QR65 aims to cover both the low-end impact and the crisp detail in vocals and instruments, making it a strong choice for desks and small-to-mid sized rooms.

Studio-style clarity with dual driver design

Sound quality starts with the driver configuration. The QR65 uses a 1.25-inch silk dome tweeter for crisp, articulate high frequencies, helping speech sound clearer and treble feel more refined. For the mid-low range, it includes a 2.75-inch mid-bass driver that supports a fuller low-end presence—useful for bass lines in music and the weight of sound effects in games. Compared to basic desktop speakers that can sound thin at higher volumes, the QR65’s treble and mid-low separation is intended to keep audio more controlled and detailed over longer listening sessions.

Power and signal performance for distortion-free listening

The QR65 is rated with treble output of 15W x 2 and mid-low output of 20W x 2, giving it the headroom to stay dynamic. It also features an ≥85dB signal-to-noise ratio, which helps reduce unwanted background noise and interference. In practical terms, this means cleaner playback when you’re using the speakers for calls, video conferencing audio, or casual listening—especially in environments where multiple electronic devices are running near your desk.

Flexible connectivity: Bluetooth 5.3, USB-A, and RCA

For wireless convenience, the QR65 supports Bluetooth 5.3, enabling fast and stable streaming from smartphones, tablets, and laptops. If you prefer a wired setup for consistent playback, it also provides USB-A connectivity and RCA input options. This makes the speaker versatile for different desk sources—such as connecting a laptop via USB-A for everyday work, or using RCA for compatible audio outputs. With multiple input choices, you can switch between devices without needing extra adapters in most common setups.

GaN charger integration for a cleaner, more efficient desk

A standout convenience feature is the built-in GaN charger. The QR65 includes USB-C and USB-A ports that allow you to charge devices while using the speaker system. This is especially helpful for modern workspaces where phones, tablets, or other accessories need power at the same time as audio playback. Compared to setups that require separate chargers and power strips, the QR65 helps reduce cable clutter and keeps your desk more organized—while still supporting fast and efficient charging through its GaN design.

Design and usability for everyday desktop setups

The QR65 comes in a premium white matte finish that fits well with minimalist interiors and modern desk aesthetics. Its compact form factor is designed to sit neatly on a shelf or desk without taking over your workspace. Note that it does not include a built-in microphone or remote control; controls are manual on the unit. If you prefer direct, physical control over remote-based operation, this design can feel straightforward—especially when you’re adjusting volume during work or gaming sessions.
