The Edifier M60 2.0 Mini Compact Desktop Speaker is designed for listeners who want high-fidelity audio without taking over their workspace. Built in a modern, minimalist black finish, each compact speaker measures 100 x 168 x 147 mm, making it easy to fit on a desk, studio corner, or home office setup. Despite its space-saving footprint, the system delivers a total RMS output of over 66W, helping produce clear highs and detailed mids that work well for music, movies, and everyday gaming audio.
Inside the M60, you get a dynamic two-way configuration engineered to cover a wide listening range. A 1-inch silk dome tweeter (15W x 2) focuses on crisp treble detail, while a 3-inch long-throw aluminum diaphragm mid-low driver (18W x 2) is tuned for fuller body and controlled low-end response. This combination is especially useful when you want vocals to stay intelligible and instrument separation to remain distinct, even at higher volume levels—an advantage for long work sessions and late-night entertainment.
For wireless listening, the M60 supports Bluetooth Version V5.3, delivering fast and stable streaming with high-bandwidth performance. It also supports LDAC and SBC codecs, enabling Hi-Res Audio Wireless for compatible devices. Compared to basic Bluetooth setups that may sound flatter or less detailed, LDAC support helps preserve more nuance—making the M60 a strong choice for users who stream high-quality audio from smartphones, tablets, or laptops.
The speaker is flexible enough to match your daily device lineup. You can connect via Bluetooth, USB-C, or 3.5mm AUX, so it works with PCs, Macs, laptops, and other audio sources. If you prefer a wired connection for consistent latency and reliability, USB-C and 3.5mm AUX provide straightforward setup. For quick switching between devices—like moving from a laptop to a phone—the Bluetooth option keeps your workflow smooth.
To refine the listening experience, the M60 includes built-in full digital signal processing (DSP) with a two-way active crossover and dynamic range control (DRC). This helps optimize how the tweeter and mid-low drivers share the workload, reducing distortion and maintaining clarity even when you turn the volume up. The result is a more controlled sound signature that stays engaging for both casual listening and focused audio sessions.
Frequency response: 58Hz – 40kHz, supporting a broad range for music and multimedia. Signal-to-noise ratio: ≥ 85dB(A), helping deliver a cleaner, more immersive soundstage. Power: total RMS output over 66W, designed to provide strong performance from a compact desktop speaker system.
The M60 features a capacitive touch panel with automatic backlighting, giving you intuitive control in low-light environments. For deeper customization, it is compatible with the Edifier ConneX mobile app, allowing you to access additional controls, firmware updates, and audio customization directly from your smartphone. Custom-designed speaker stands are also included to elevate the units to an ideal listening angle, which can improve stereo imaging and make the sound feel more natural across your desk.
Weighing 3.07 kg, the M60 strikes a balance between solid build quality and manageable placement on a desktop. If you’re setting up a compact studio, a home workstation, or a stylish living-room audio corner, this 2.0 mini speaker system offers a practical upgrade path—especially for users who want better detail than typical entry-level desktop speakers while keeping the setup clean and modern.
