The ASUS Marshmallow MD100 Lite is a sleek, lightweight wireless optical mouse built for daily productivity and smooth navigation. Designed with a compact, regular-small form factor, it fits easily in your bag or workspace, making it a practical choice for students, office users, and frequent travelers who want a clutter-free setup. With dual-mode connectivity, you can switch between devices effortlessly—ideal when you alternate between a laptop and a desktop or need a quick connection for work and study.
This mouse supports both Bluetooth and a USB dongle connection, giving you flexibility depending on what your device supports. Bluetooth is convenient for pairing with compatible laptops and tablets without occupying extra ports, while the USB dongle option is useful when you want a straightforward, reliable wireless link. The dual-mode design helps you move between devices with minimal hassle, so you can stay focused on tasks like document editing, browsing, and online learning.
For responsive control, the mouse offers adjustable resolution settings of 800, 1000, and 1600 dpi. Lower DPI can feel more precise for tasks that require careful cursor movement, while higher DPI supports faster navigation across screens—useful for web browsing, spreadsheets, and general daily use. Compared to fixed-DPI mice, adjustable DPI helps you tailor the pointer speed to your comfort and the type of work you do most often.
The ASUS Marshmallow MD100 Lite features a click sound setting of “Yes,” and it is described as having a silent click feature. This makes it a good fit for quiet settings such as libraries, shared offices, and study rooms where you want a more considerate clicking experience. It’s also a convenient option for home use when you don’t want your mouse to be distracting during calls or late-night work.
With a 10-meter wireless range, you can move comfortably within your workspace without frequent disconnections. Weighing only 56 grams, the mouse is easy to handle for longer sessions and feels especially convenient for travel. If you often work from different locations—cafes, classrooms, or office desks—this lightweight design helps reduce fatigue compared to heavier mice.
The mouse comes in a stylish gray color and includes no lighting. Without RGB or extra visual effects, it keeps the setup minimal and distraction-free—an advantage for users who prefer a clean desk aesthetic. The absence of lighting can also help maintain a straightforward, efficient daily-use experience.
The product description states compatibility with Windows, Mac, and Chrome OS. This makes the ASUS Marshmallow MD100 Lite a versatile wireless mouse for mixed-device environments, such as a Windows laptop at work and a Mac system at home, or a Chromebook for study. Before purchase, ensure your device supports either Bluetooth or USB dongle connectivity to match your preferred connection method.
The mouse uses an AA battery, supporting long-lasting performance for everyday tasks. For users who want a dependable wireless mouse without frequent charging, AA battery operation can be convenient—especially if you keep spare batteries at home or in your travel kit.
